The Story of Book Lover - From Curiosity to Rediscovery
Pages to Possibilities – A Book Day Reflection
From my childhood, my father’s book collection was more than just a shelf of stories — it was my quiet introduction to the world of books. Those pages became my first escape from reality into imagination and wonder.
On this World Book Day, I want to share a little piece of that journey — how books shaped my perspective, brought comfort, sparked curiosity, and continue to be one of the most powerful companions in this digital world.
As I grew older, my connection with books only deepened. No longer just my father's collection — I began collecting my own. I remember the joy of buying books with my own salary, carefully choosing titles that called out to me. Each book felt like an investment in myself.
Over time, my shelves began to fill with stories from all over the world. Reading became a part of who I was — a quiet ritual, a space I could always return to.
But then came life — responsibilities, routines, the beautiful chaos of work and family. Slowly, my time for reading shrank, and my beloved pile of books… waited. Patiently. Tucked away on shelves, gathering dust but never forgotten.
Even though there are days when I barely find time to cut my nails or wash my hair, something inside me kept nudging — a quiet voice reminding me of the joy books once brought, and still could.
So, I decided to do something. Something small but meaningful. To write and reconnect. And maybe, in the process, help someone else rediscover the magic of reading too.
Through this blog, I will be sharing:
